Is a sitting required in person?

A sitting is strongly recommended — it captures likeness and presence. When the subject cannot attend, you provide extra photo or video references instead.

What happens after I accept the proposal?

You sign a contract and pay a deposit before work begins; the meeting fee is credited toward the final payment if you proceed.
